Maryann Donnelly Squassabia began playing piano at 8 and writing songs as a teenager. She was awarded a vocal performance scholarship by DU's Lamont School of Music, enjoyed piano studies with Markay Brown, Mary Alice Eldridge, and Marcielle Collins and vocal training by Ray Arbizu, Cindy Knipe, Katherine Bishop Campbell, Larry Glenn, & Michelle Scott.
Many have requested Maryann to sing, direct, accompany, compose, arrange and orchestrate music including the Cherry Creek Chorale, Colorado Mormon Chorale, Lamont Chorale, Loveland Choral Society, Opera Fort Collins, Monarch Youth Homes, Greeley Stampede, Foothills Pops Big Band, Kream of the Krop Big Band, Northglenn Youth Theatre, Longmont Theatre Company, Wilson Winner Quinn, Jim Bragonier's Jazz, Tom Proctor Band, Lieto Voices, and other civic groups. Her work has been performed mostly in Colorado, but she now resides in beautiful Saint George, where she continues to write, record and perform music.
